We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and research skills. The candidate must be self-motivated and have a “can do” attitude as they will be often working autonomously. The candidate must be computer literate and have a comfortable telephone manner as well as first hand experience working with social media. This is a fantastic opportunity for any young person as it offers them invaluable experience and is a fantastic springboard for any future roles
About us: We’re a fast growing London based careers skills provider. We work with students, parents, schools, universities and employers to help graduates to become employable.
Role: We are looking for an outstanding final year or recent graduate for our intern program who can work ideally full-time. Average hours 09.30am-4.30pm monday to friday. Applicants must be located in the London area in order to work out of our offices in Victoria.
What you would do:
Marketing & PR
- Helping develop PR campaigns for the company
- Maintaining the on-line media strategy using Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIN with an aim to increase the company’s profile
- Developing a successful advertising campaign using Google Adwords
- Writing regular posts for the Lifestep blog
- Market research and assessment of the competitive landscape.
Internal Planning & Organisation
- Assisting on special projects assigned by senior management
- Assisting in the development of the new Lifestep website
- Helping in the day to day running of the company
- Compiling calendar of important industry related events

Requirements
- Final year or recent graduate with a combination of at least two internships and/or summer jobs in a business environment.
- Minimum 2:1
-Strong knowledge and some relevant experience of working in Marketing and PR, in particular working with digital and social media.
- Excellent written skills
- Friendly and professional. Ability to talk to clients on the phone, on paper and face-to-face.
- Exceptionally bright with credentials that demonstrate hard work and leadership performance eg. extra-curricular activities.
- Be an optimistic self starter with creative problem solving abilities. Ability to take the initiative and to work independently.
- Good IT Skills: Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Powerpoint) and touchtyping.
Payment
There will be a two week unpaid probation period. After successful completion of the trial fortnight, we offer our interns £50 per day in addition to office expenses. We also offer the opportunity for an additional results based bonus when contributing to a fee earning day with one of our major clients.
