Lifestep Terms & Conditions

All courses provided by LIFESTEP Limited (“LIFESTEP”) are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. LIFESTEP reserves the right to decline to accept any application for registration in any of its services it provides.
  2. For the fees quoted LIFESTEP will supply the details of the course and programme or workshops on dates decided by LIFESTEP (at their sole discretion) throughout the duration of the course. All other services described in the promotional material are provided at the charges published, unless otherwise stated.
  3. Overseas students – if there are any payments need for any import or export duties or taxes which may be imposed then the student shall be responsible for the payment of these.
  4. Initial course details will be sent to you within 3 working days of the course . If you do not receive them within this period, you should notify LIFESTEP immediately. Otherwise, LIFESTEP shall be entitled to assume that you have received them. For overseas students this will be within 15 working days.
  5. LIFESTEP warrants that all course materials will be prepared and any practical training workshops and training support will be provided with reasonable care and skill. Subject thereto, LIFESTEP shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, however occurring, whether direct or indirect, resulting from your enrolment on the course. LIFESTEP’s liability shall in any event be limited to the fees paid by you for participation in the course.
  6. You must observe all LIFESTEP’s rules applicable to the course. If you commit any breach of such rules or are guilty of any offensive behaviour, LIFESTEP shall be entitled to expel you from the course, without reimbursement of fees already paid.
  7. Copyright in the course materials is owned or licensed by LIFESTEP. Copying, adaptation or other use without the written permission of LIFESTEP is prohibited.
  8. Unless otherwise stipulated in your application, LIFESTEP may use your personal data for administrative and update purposes and may keep this information for a reasonable period and may contact you by email, mail, SMS or telephone to let you know about any courses or promotions which might be of interest to you. If you have booked the course for another person, you confirm that they have authorised you to act for them, to consent to the processing of their personal data and to receive any fair collection notices on their behalf.
  9. If you have booked the course for another person, these terms and conditions shall be binding on you and the participant and references herein to “you” shall mean or include “the participant”, where appropriate. It shall be your responsibility to ensure that these terms and conditions are brought to the notice of the participant and you shall indemnify LIFESTEP against any loss, damage or liability resulting from your failure to do so.
  10. LIFESTEP reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any practical training workshop.
  11. In undertaking any work, you must take care to ensure that the work is within your competence and within the boundaries of your training. You should seek further advice or instruction from the LIFESTEP consultancy help-line, if necessary.
  12. Course content may be subject to change.
  13. If paying by instalments, you agree to pay your instalments promptly each month or with each assignment submitted, whichever is the sooner. LIFESTEP reserves the right to withhold course materials whilst any payment is overdue. If you have elected to pay by instalments you may terminate your participation on the course at any time by giving 3 months’ notice in writing. The notice should be sent to the Principal at LIFESTEP’s address set out in the application form. If you do so you will still be liable:
    • to make any payment already outstanding at the date that you give notice;
    • to make any further payment that falls due during the notice period
  14. Does Lifestep share the Information it receives? Information about our customers is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling it to others. Lifestep knows that you care how information about you is used and shared and we appreciate your trust in us to do that carefully and sensibly. See Lifestep privacy policy.
  15. Lifestep will not keep your credit card information nor will Lifestep pass any information onto third parties which includes any of your financial information. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Paypal. We transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
  16. What About Third-Party Links to Other Web sites? Our site may include third-party links to other Web sites. We do not provide any personally identifiable customer information to these third-party Web sites.
  17. Payment will be made 2 weeks before the service start date for UK students for services in the UK. Payment for Overseas students will be 30days before the service start date.
  18. Our Refunds Policy for UK students is that if you cancel before 10 working days, for services provided in the UK, we will give you a return of 50% of the service fee.. If you cancel after that you will not be refunded any money.
  19. Our Refunds Policy for Overseas students is that if you cancel before 30 working days, for services provided, we will give you a return of 50% of the service fee. If you cancel after that you will not be refunded any money.
  20. Failure to complete the course shall not entitle you to receive any refund of fees already paid.
