The Lifestep team – all experts in their respective fields – offer the benefits of over 100 years’ combined, complementary global experience in education, leadership development, professional management, recruitment and entrepreneurship. They share a common goal and commitment to helping young people.

Paul de Zulueta (CEO & MD): Former partner of Mast International. For the last twenty years Paul has designed and delivered adult education and development programmes both in the UK and eleven countries worldwide.

Theodora Clarke (Head of Programmes): Theo worked in financial recruitment in New York where she was responsible for building out the firm’s North American operations and recruiting private bankers and financial advisors. She is currently completing her PhD at Bristol University.

Nigel Hadden-Paton (Non-Executive Director): Apart from having co-founded Lifestep, Nigel also heads English Mentors, a leading provider of high quality mentoring programmes for a diverse international client base and one of the core delivery partners of Lifestep. He served as an Army officer for 14 years in The Household Cavalry. Nigel is a Governor of an English Private School in the West Country and Director of The Guards Polo Club.
